IRC National Coalitions Workshop 2026
International Respiratory Coalition national coalitions are invited to join us in Brussels for two days of strategy, shared learning, and action planning to translate respiratory health commitments into real-world progress.
What to expect
Sessions will cover:
- Keynote address on engaging policymakers to advance respiratory health
- Using the IRC Blueprint to build and implement National Respiratory Health Strategies – a practical planning tool aligned with the IRC Manifesto framework
- Leveraging global policy for national impact using tools such as JARED and the World Health Assembly Lung Health Resolution to strengthen national advocacy
- Coalition pitches where each coalition shares its successes and challenges from the past year
- World Asthma Day evening event – a joint session with the Belgian Respiratory Coalition featuring a GINA update, best practices in asthma policy and a panel discussion
- Framing your policy asks a session on how to effectively get the attention of policymakers
- Commitments for 2026–2028
