Ways to get involved

The IRC Ambassador Programme

The IRC is looking for individuals who can act as ‘IRC Ambassadors’ in support of this important initiative. IRC Ambassadors will champion the work/goals of the IRC, both nationally and internationally, with a view to contributing to better awareness about national IRC projects and their successful implementation, alongside encouraging support and membership moving forward. The ideal candidates will be members of the health community with a strong commitment to the IRC’s mission and the ability to represent the Coalition to policymakers, peers from medical, patient and civil society organisations, and the general public.

Become a member of a national-level group

The IRC is now supporting the formulation of national-level groups. These groups should comprise multisectoral organisations and individuals capable of assessing the current environment, identifying and setting ambitious improvement goals, developing aligned interventions and a roadmap for their delivery at national level.

Join the IRC as an official partner, sponsor or supporting organisation

The seven founding IRC partner organisations, which include an international respiratory society, patient organisations, and industry, all support the IRC’s goals in different ways – either by contributing expertise, time or funds as appropriate in each case. The founding partners encourage other organisations to join this Coalition and contribute to this movement. There are three available categories: partner, sponsor or supporter. They offer organisations of all sizes different levels of commitment to accommodate available resources.
